Arenal
Volcano is regarded as one of the world’smost active
volcanoes. Its lava flows and eruption have been constant
and any day you can see smoking cinderblocks tumbling
down the mountain.In this area you will find Tabacon hotsprings,
sorrounded by lush rain forest. Enjoy deep rain forest
on the way to the La Fortuna Waterfalls nearly 200 feet
high.
The main object of this tour is to visit the
world’s most active volcano: Volcano Arenal.
During this tour we will cross the Tempisuqe River and continue to
the town Canas and up to the village Tilaran. A few miles past Tilaran
we will make our first stop on the shore of the lake Arenal. The beautiness
of the lake and ist landscape remaines many people of Switzerland
and Bavaria. We will continue passing through rainforest, arriving
at the bridge of the lake, and our first view of the volcano. Moving
closer to the volcano allows you to experience the sounds of eruptions.
A short drive from here we find an empresive huge waterfall, cascating
into a refreshing swimming lake. After leaving the waterfall we will
visit the Tabacon Resort, where you can bath in natural hot springs,
heated by the volcano, while enjoying another magnificant view of
Volcano Arenal.
